Beginning of change

“CHANGE” – a very common word, but its impact struck me for the first time few years back during our officers training in Administrative training institute, Mysore. As part of some motivational sessions, we were given to read and discuss modified version of the book “Who Moved My Cheese”? An Amazing Way to Deal with Change in Your Work and in Your Life' written by Spencer Johnson. It is a very simple and funny story dealing with two mice and two little people in their quest for cheese. The entire story emphasizes the need for change, being ready for changes and taking quick decisions to change the current situation. Needless to say ,we were really enthralled and motivated reading that story !!!.
Later during the discussion, the moderator of session said the following quote of Mahatma Gandhi, which is truly phenomenal.
“You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
Several years pass by. And now its history that Barack Obama ran and won the American presidency election on the slogan “change”. There is a lot of buzz about "change".
To add to the buzz, now here I go…….
